Miami Swim Week was all about bright colors, bohemian chic looks and airy pieces on the runway, but the fashion statements didn’t stop there. Fashion forward influencers from around the world descended onto South Beach sporting some of the summer’s hottest trends, fit to beat the scorching Miami heat.
Miami traditionally evokes images of neons and barely there bikinis, but this year, those took a back seat to more chic black and white styles accented by pops of color. Here, we show how some of KYBOE!’s favorite bloggers successfully went from the beach to the front row at Miami Swim Week 2016.
One of the most popular trends of the season allows for bright and playful accents to be front and center. Pom Poms could be found on bags, hemlines, cover ups, jewelry and notice-me sandals. Sydne Summer of www.SydneStyle.com showcased her pretty pastel pedi, baby blue KYBOE! watch and coral clutch with adorable lace up pom pom sandals from Chinese Laundry. We love how these fun sandals tied together her colorful accessories for a beachy yet pulled together look for a day of runway shows.
It wasn’t all work at Swim Week! Many lucky visitors took advantage of the gorgeous South Beach setting and enjoyed some sun and relaxation. Nikki Pendergast of www.MyStyleDiaries.com made sure her beach day look was on point with this pom pom adorned cover up and nautical navy KYBOE!
WHITE HOT JUMPSUITS
There’s nothing that says summer more than bright white. Swim Week saw a different take on summer’s Little White Dress this year in the way of White Hot Jumpsuits. The perfect alternative for warm weather cocktail attire on a hot Miami night, these looked crisp, clean and super sophisticated. Check out Taye Hansberry of www.stuffshelikes.com in a to-die-for option from C/MEO Collective that’s structured shape was uber chic. Serena Goh, www.thespicystiletto.com, opted for a breezy, laid back option that she expertly dressed up with strappy black heels and a sleek KYBOE! timepiece.

It wouldn’t be Miami Swim Week without some bold, bright, colorful accessories! While our KYBOE! watches served as pops of color on the runway and on many wrists during the week, we also loved the colorful shoes and bags that we saw from both women and men alike. Nikki’s Rebecca Minkoff tassel adorned clutch is one of our favorites of the season due to its go-with-anything style that takes just about any basic outfit to the next level instantly! Not to be outdone by the girls, Jamal Jackson, aka www.StyleSocietyGuy.com, paired his crisp linen suit with royal blue loafers and shades to look oh so Miami-chic.

BREEZY BLACK DRESSES
We were surprised to see many Swim Week goers proving that you can pull off black, even in a tropical climate! Black crochet and breezy off the shoulder styles could be seen along the streets of Collins Ave both day and night. Pau Dictado’s (www.Pau-Dictado.com) dressy black maxi made her front row ready, while keeping it cool with crochet details and a sleek braided do. Jessica Ricks of www.HapaTime.com was runway ready in an off the shoulder number from Lulus and beachy waves.

LACE UP HEELS
What a better way to channel your inner ballerina than with some ballet slipper inspired lace up sandals? We saw this trend strutting from the sand to the catwalk all over the city. Our top pick comes in a cognac color to match sun-kissed legs. Lisa Cahue, www.MindBodySwag.com, shows off the style’s elongating effect in her Gianvito Rossi selection while Lillian Babayan of www.StudsandSapphires.com chose a similar pair to complement her Rose Gold Sand KYBOE!. These heels are not only great for summer looks, but the tan color will help them transition you into the fall..
